A pixel pet shop full of kittens, run by the live chat

Type fish in the YouTube chat and a fish drops into the shop. Type sleep and the cats curl up for a nap. The shop is live all day and all night.

Open around the clock

How a word turns into a drop

  1. Open the live

It's on YouTube, any time of day. No account needed to watch.

  2. Type a word from the menu

Put it first in your message: tuna, !water and ball pls all count.

  3. Votes add up

When the chat is quiet, one word is enough. When it's busy, words pile up and the most-voted one drops. Food, water, toys and naps each keep their own count.

A different shop through the year

The shop changes its decorations with the calendar, and the cats play in every one of them. Day turns to night on the shop's own clock, and rain rolls in now and then. Pick a scene to look inside.

Halloween

October 20 to 31

Pumpkins, a cauldron, cobwebs and cats in witch hats.

Seasons

The shop follows the seasons of the year.

Holidays

On these dates a holiday takes over from the season.

Special scenes

Not on the calendar: viewers will be able to call these in once Super Chat opens on the channel.

Questions

Is it really live?

Yes. The shop runs on a server all day and all night, and the cats react to what the chat types right now. Nothing is pre-recorded.

Does it cost anything to play?

No. Typing in the chat is free, and every word on the menu works for everyone.

Why didn't my word do anything?

Only the words on the menu count, in English, as the first word of your message. Each person gets up to 5 words a minute. When the chat is busy, votes add up and only the most-voted item drops, so your word may have been outvoted.

Can I watch it on my phone?

Yes. On a phone, YouTube shows a vertical version of the live with a close-up camera that follows the action.

Does the shop change?

Day turns to night on the shop's own clock, it rains now and then, and the decorations change for the seasons and holidays. Cats come and go too: each one stays a while, then heads out and a new one comes in.
